By creating an account or using Journal Ninja (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use the Service with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, obtained through the in-app process. By using the Service as a minor, you confirm that such consent has been given.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, including a truthful date of birth.
Your content
You own everything you write. We do not claim ownership of your journal entries, goals, or other content.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate the Service for you, including sending relevant text to our AI provider to generate the reflections you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it.
AI features and important disclaimer
The Service uses AI to generate reflections, missions, reviews, and letters. This content is generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and is provided for self-reflection and personal-growth purposes only.
It is NOT professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
Subscriptions and payments
Journal Ninja offers an optional paid plan ("Pro"). Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are governed by that store's terms.
Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Where a minor makes a purchase, the relevant store's family approval (such as Ask to Buy) may apply.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using the Service and permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your data is permanently removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to the Service or terms
We may update the Service and these terms over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights.
